1. Place the motorcycle on the
side stand.
2. (SV650A) Remove the rear
wheel speed sensor by remov-
ing the mounting bolt.
3. Remove the axle nut 1.
4. Place an accessory service
stand or equivalent under the
swingarm to lift the rear wheel
slightly off the ground.
5. Loosen the right and left chain
adjusting bolts 2.
6. Draw out the axle shaft.
7. With the wheel moved forward,
remove the chain from the
sprocket.
8. Remove the rear brake caliper
assembly 3.
