Engine Coolant Temperature
Indicator “D
The engine coolant temperature
is displayed by an LCD segment
temperature indicator D, water
temperature mark E, and indica-
tor light G.
When the engine coolant temper-
ature exceeds 241°F (116°C), all
six LCD segments turn on. When
the engine coolant temperature
comes to 248°F (120°C), the
water temperature mark E blinks,
and the indicator light G turns on.
If all six LCD segments for the
temperature indication D turn on,
stop the engine, wait until the
engine is cooled, and check the
coolant level.
Neutral Indicator Light “N” F
The green light will come on when
the transmission is in neutral. The
light will go out when you shift into
any gear other than neutral.
NOTICE
Riding the motorcycle with the
engine coolant temperature
indicator lit can cause serious
engine damage due to over-
heating.
If the engine coolant tempera-
ture indicator light comes on,
stop the engine to let it cool.
Do not run the engine until the
engine coolant temperature
indicator light goes off.
