1. General
The cooker hood has a central role in the
home ventilation system. It is important that
the cooker hood removes cooking odours ef-
ficiently and quietly.
Thanks to an elegant and distinct design,
all Swegon CASA cooker hoods blend in as
part of the furnishings in a modern kitchen.
Particular attention has been directed during
the design phase to user comfort and the
hoods feature smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces.
The metal grease filters are also easy-to-
clean. The cooker hood’s lighting consists of
maintenance-free LED lamps (4000 K).
2. Control technology
Smart
Swegon CASA cooker hoods can be used for
controlling ventilation units equipped with
Smart control technology.
EC-power roof ventilator
Swegon CASA cooker hoods can be used to
control a power roof ventilator equipped with
an EC-fan.
3. Installation
All cooker hoods are equipped with an external
power source, that also serves as a main power
switch. The wall socket, intended for the con-
nection of the cooker hood, must be installed
so it is easily accessible. A double wall socket
is required if a Jazz hood is installed directly
under a CASA Smart ventilation unit.
Connect the cooker hood with a modular
cable to a ventilation unit with Smart control
technology. If you route the modular cable
within a building element (e.g. in a wall), the
cable must be routed in a 20 mm con-
duit, bearing in mind any subsequent cable
replacement.
See the detailed instructions in the separate
installation instructions enclosed with the
cooker hood.
