- Remove the lter, check its condition and replace it
if necessary.
- Ret the drain plug (4) replacing the sealing washer
(tightening torque: 20 Nm - 2.0 Kgm - 14.75 ft/lb).
- Ret the lter and the cover (6) and replace the
gasket, paying attention to respect the correct
direction of assembly.
Note
The total quantity of engine oil is 1.35 kg.
ENGINE OIL AND FILTER CHANGE
- Remove the push rod by unscrewing the front
retaining screw (1) and the two rear screws (2) (one
per side).
- Position the motorcycle on a at surface in vertical
position.
- Unscrew the plug (3).
- Place a basin underneath the oil reservoir below the
drain plug (4).
- Unscrew the drain plug (4) located under the oil
reservoir and let all the oil drain out.
- Unscrew the two retaining screws (5) and remove the
cover (6) paying attention to the direction of removal.
Note
Carry out this operation with the engine hot.
CAUTION
Be careful not to touch the hot oil.

- Pour about 1 kg of oil into the engine through the ller
neck (7).
- Start the engine and let it run for a couple of minutes.
- Pour in the remaining oil to top up to the correct level.
- Ret the side plug (3).
