FRONT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL CHECK
The level of uid in the pump reservoir must never be
below the minimum value that can be seen through
the inspection glass (1).
A decrease of the uid level will let air into the system,
hence an extension of the lever stroke.
WARNING
If the brake lever feels “too soft” when
pulled, there may be air in the brake lines
or the brake may be defective. Since it is
dangerous to ride the motorcycle under
such conditions, have the brake system
immediately checked by the SWM Dealer
CAUTION
Do not spill brake uid onto any painted
surface or lens (e.g. headlight).
Do not mix two brands of uid. Completely
change the brake uid in the brake system
if you wish to switch to another uid
brand.
CAUTION
Brake uid may cause irritation. Avoid
contact with skin or eyes. In case of
contact, ush thoroughly with water and
seek medical advice in case of contact
with eyes.
REAR BRAKE FLUID LEVEL CHECK
Master cylinder uid level shall never drop below the
minimum (LOWER) notch that can be seen through the
inspection glass (1).
A decrease of the uid level will let air into the system,
hence an extension of the lever stroke.
WARNING
If the brake pedal is too “soft”, there is air
in the line or a fault in the system. Since
it is dangerous to operate the motorcycle
under such conditions, have the brake
system immediately checked by the SWM
Dealer.
