General Precautions

Carbon Monoxide

DANGER Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide. This is a poison you cannot see or smell.

Gasoline and Oil

This product requires oil and fuel. Attempting to start the engine without oil will ruin the engine and void the warranty.

Hot Components

ENGINE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM PARTS BECOME VERY HOT AND REMAIN HOT FOR SOME TIME AFTER ENGINE SHUT OFF.

Electrical Safety

Grounded tools must be plugged into an outlet, properly installed, and grounded in accordance with all codes and ordinances.

Personal Safety

Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a generator. Do not use a generator while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.

Servicing

Maintain labels and name plates on the generator and engine. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact SYCAMORE SCS, LLC immediately.

Mechanical

Always make sure the power switch is in its "STOP" position. Disconnect the spark plug wire and allow the engine to completely cool before carrying out maintenance.
