Timing Instructions:
1 ) Loosen Allen set screw (NS-28) on side of knob (NS-3).
2 ) Pop-out plug-button (NS-29) with sharp pointed tool.
3 ) Insert thin blade screw driver in center hole of knob
(NS-3) and into the slot of the push-rod (NS-4).
4 ) Turn knob (NS-3) clockwise while holding screw driver
5 ) Tighten Allen set screw (NS-28). To increase time cycle,
turn knob (NS-3) counter-clockwise in step 4.
Service:
NS-13R - Washer & Gasket Repair Kit , includes piston
unit, control rod sleeve, sleeve, retainer and all necessary
washers and gaskets.
NS-1 - Complete Replacement Unit, includes the
complete working unit of the valve assembled and tested)
New installations, before turning on the water supply,
line. Replace cartridge and turn on supply. If supply is not

• Timing Adjustment:
  1. Loosen the Allen set screw (NS-28) on the side of the knob (NS-3).
  2. Remove the plug-button (NS-29) using a sharp pointed tool.
  3. Insert a thin blade screwdriver into the center hole of the knob (NS-3) and into the slot of the push-rod (NS-4).
  4. To achieve the minimum time cycle, turn the knob (NS-3) clockwise while holding the screwdriver firmly. Continue turning until the push-rod (NS-4) is 3/16" from the top of the knob (NS-3).
  5. To increase the time cycle, turn the knob (NS-3) counter-clockwise in step 4.
  6. Replace the plug-button (NS-29) and tighten the Allen set screw (NS-28).

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and proper functioning of the Showeroff valve.

• New Installations: Before turning on the water supply, it is essential to remove the cartridge, open the stop, and thoroughly flush the supply lines. Failure to flush the lines of dirt and foreign matter can prevent the valve from shutting off correctly.
• Long Idle Periods: If the valve remains unused for extended periods (e.g., seasonal use), it is recommended to disassemble the cartridge unit and lightly lubricate all moving parts. This prevents seizing and ensures smooth operation when the valve is reactivated.
• Repair Kit (NS-13R): A dedicated Washer & Gasket Repair Kit is available, including the piston unit, control rod sleeve, sleeve, retainer, and all necessary washers and gaskets. This kit facilitates common repairs and extends the valve's lifespan.
• Complete Replacement Unit (NS-1): A complete replacement unit, including the fully assembled and tested valve, is available for more extensive repairs or replacements.
