13.0 CALIBRATION
Calibration should be carried out using a gas which is in the same range as the gas that is being
analysed.
For applications in the percentage range, the calibration may be carried out using atmospheric air.
13.1 Calibration with Atmospheric Air
Set up the instrument such that atmospheric air is circulating through the instrument, either
with a pump or compressed air. Make sure the pressure is the same as the sample gas.
Enter the set-up mode by pressing
on the front panel of the instrument.
Once in the CAL mode the default value is 20.9%
Enter the CAL mode by pressing
By pressing the ENTER button the instrument will automatically reset itself to 20.9% and
continue to measure the oxygen content of the air
to return to oxygen measurement.
