The SystemBas C510ip-s is an IP Audio Codec designed for high-quality audio transmission over various digital networks, including IP, ISDN, dedicated digital lines, optical fiber, digital microwave links, and satellite links. It supports full-duplex, point-to-point audio transmission and can be configured to use L16, L24, G722, G711, or apt-X100 4:1 fixed audio encoding systems for efficient bandwidth utilization.

Usage Features:

  • VFD Display: A 24-character by 2-line Vacuum Fluorescent Display provides comprehensive information on configuration and status.
  • VU Meters: 20-bit True RMS Digital VU Meters with Peak Hold, ranging from -60dB to 0dB, with red LEDs for clipping indication.
  • Menu Navigation: Uses dedicated buttons for scrolling (Up/Down), selection/editing, and backspacing. YES/NO buttons for confirmation/cancellation.
  • Dialing: DIAL button for initiating ISDN calls, with keypad for number entry.
  • Patch Memories: Stores up to 26 configuration memories (patches) for quick recall.
  • Audio Priority: Automatically adjusts data bandwidth on remaining ISDN calls if some are terminated, prioritizing either bandwidth or stereo image.
  • Auto Hunt: Automatically detects and re-configures audio format for incoming calls.
  • G711 Receive: Configurable to receive G711 (analogue telephone) calls.
  • ISDN MSN: Configurable Multiple Subscriber Number to answer calls with matching MSN, steering G722/G711 calls to specific outputs.
  • IP Auto-Connect: Can be configured to auto-connect if IP connection is disrupted.
  • IP Auto Buffer: Evaluates IP line characteristics and optimizes buffer length. Manual adjustment of buffer length (1-n packets) is also possible.
  • IP Packet Size: Defines Ms of audio captured per transmitted packet. Default or 1-19 mS.
  • Backup Options: Configurable automatic ISDN Backup and Restore, with adjustable Backup Threshold (0-100% sync errors) and Restore Time (0-60 seconds).
  • Reserve Dial: Configurable to automatically dial a reserve site upon primary site failure, using parameters from an adjacent patch.
  • Codec Function Modes: IP Mode, ISDN Mode, X21 Mode, Backup Master/Slave, Master/Slave X21->IP, Master/Slave IP->ISDN, Nailed ISDN.
  • Country Options: Configurable ISDN parameters for different countries/regions.
  • Password Protection: Two levels (Edit Lock, Full Lock) to prevent accidental re-configuration.
  • Loopback: Internal digital loopback of compressed audio signal (prior to X.21/ISDN interface) for testing.
  • Email Alerts: Configurable to send email alerts on changes in Sync/ISDN/IP state.
  • SIP Registration: Accessible via WEB GUI, allows registration with SIP servers using username, password, and domain/IP address.

Maintenance Features:
