1 - 2 Transmission "gearbox - cutterbar"
Check that the opening B between the tightening ring of the shaft and the cone does not exceed
1 mm. If the distance is larger knock down the flange of the cone a little.
Keep the cones clean, clen them inside 2 - 3 times per season. If the cones are
unbalanced, vibrations could occur causing damage to the cutterbar. Damage of this
kind annuls the guarantee.
Always use LOCTITE 242 on the bolts of the universal joint A and on the bolts of
the cones.

Balancing springs
Never try to dismantle the balancing springs. They are pre-loaded at 300 - 400 kg. A
damaged spring is replaced as a complete unit, - see the machine spare parts list.
