TONE Sound
While transmitting by pressing the PTT button, pressing Side Key 3
activates the TONE audio call feature, causing the device to emit a
1000-1750KHz audio tone. Release the monitor key to exit this function.
This function can be set through menu item 35.
Scan Function
Before scanning, decide under what conditions the walkie-talkie
should continue scanning after detecting a signal. Choose one of
the following modes:
Time-Operated Mode (TO)
The walkie-talkie stops scanning and stays on the same frequency when
a signal is detected, pausing for about 5 seconds. If the signal continues,
the walkie-talkie will resume scanning.
Carrier-Operated ModeCO
The walkie-talkie stops scanning and remains on the same frequency
upon detecting a signal, until the signal disappears. There is a 2-second
delay between the disappearance of the signal and the resumption of
scanning to allow time for response transmission.
Search Mode SE
The walkie-talkie exits scanning and stays on the detected frequency.
In scan mode, you can press the Up/Down Keys to change the
direction of the scan.
