Step 5
Remove the four screws securing the keypad to the
front panel.

Step 6
Disconnect the ribbon cable from the keypad. The
ribbon cable header is equipped with a locking
mechanism. To disconnect the ribbon cable, move
the two locking tabs away from the header, toward
the outside of the board.

Rotary Wing

The rotary wing agitates the ice and forces it against
the shaver blade.
Troubleshooting
If the unit does not shave ice, but the motor is
running check for the following:
S Blade damage
S Possible broken or cored-out rotary wing
Disassembly
Step 1
Remove the ice hopper and lid. (See page 17.)
Step 2
Turn off the power switch and unplug the
power cord.
WARNING: The shaver blade is very
sharp. Cautionmustbeusedwhenworkinginor
near the shaver assembly. Failure to follow this
instruction may result in personal injury from blade
contact.
Step 3
Remove the ice shaver cone cover by pressing the
rear tab inward and rotating the cover clockwise.
