PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Unit blows 7.5A fuse. +12VDC Baery line is
shorted to ground.
1. For safety reasons, remove the 4A, in-line fuse from the acces-
sory power cable.
2. Unscrew the 3 pin power connector. Inspect for stray wire
strands and visible shorts.
3. Inspect the full length of the power cable. Look for damaged
insulaon, which may cause shorng between the cable and
ground potenal (e.g. truck frame or chassis). If the power
cable is damaged, it must be replaced.
4. Replace the 7.5A fuse and re-install the wires into the terminal
Bd. connector.
5. If the 7.5A blows again, then replace the power cable.
6. If the 7.5A fuse blows aer replacing the power cable, then
replace the TCS3000 terminal circuit board.
Display is reading in reverse Pulse Channel TAHA1 and
TAHB1 are wired back-

1. Cycle power of the register
2. Allow diesel chassis glow plugs to properly charge before turn-
ing over the ignion.
3. Power On Time Relay may be required for installaon.

Time and Date reset to

Low Baery Power
Short on Baery
1. Go to Operaon Status under Reports and check internal
baery voltage. If under 2.75V, baery must be replaced.
2. Check that no wires are in contact with Baery. Time and Date
are reset if in contact and power is shuto. Use electrical tape
or heat shrink on bare wire to prevent from happening again.
3. If me and date reset each me you cycle power, change Time
Source from Controller to BIOS in Regional Sengs.
Display screen has mulple
colored lines.
Ribbon cable is not seated
properly.
1. Contact factory for further support.
2. Disassemble the front cover of the register to reseat the dis-
play ribbon cable.
Buons on my keyboard are
not acve.
Tacle buon has been
damaged.

2. Disassemble the front cover of the register to replace key-
board.
System One Error New Soware not com-

ware
1. Press STOP/CANCEL to back out of a level and connue with
normal operaon of the register. This code detects soware
features that not compable with exisng rmware.
2. Some funcons will not operate (Addive Injecon, Dierenal
Pressure, etc.) under old Firmware.
3. Contact factory for Firmware upgrade.
Register reboots in Idle or

Ground Short 1. Loose ground wire causing short. Check power distribuon box
and TCS 3000 register for loose grounds. Find and ghten.
2. Inadequate power due to current draw from hose reel or sole-
noid coil.

OS loading error during
boot up
1. OS loading errors occur during startup. Voltage spikes or cur-
rent draws during OS bootup can corrupt soware.
2. Contact factory for replacement.
