Introdução
As medições de pressão arterial lidas pelo aparelho MG-20 são equivalentes às obtidas por
profissionais treinados usando o método de auscultação com braçadeira/estetoscópio, dentro dos
parâmetros determinados pelo Padrão Nacional Americano para Esfigmomanômetros Eletrônicos
ou Automáticos. O MG-20 é um aparelho para uso em ambiente doméstico, por adultos.

informações específicas sobre sua pressão arterial consulte seu médico. Conserve este
manual.
Como o MG-20 funciona
O MG-20 Techline utiliza o método de medição oscilométrico para detectar a pressão sanguínea.
Antes de inflar a braçadeira, o aparelho irá estabelecer uma linha de base para a pressão da
braçadeira equivalente a pressão do ar. O seu MG-20 irá determinar a inflação apropriada baseada
nas oscilações de pressão do usuário, seguidas pela deflação da braçadeira. Durante a deflação, o
aparelho irá detectar a amplitude das oscilações de pressão e assim determinar a pressão
sistólica, diastólica e a pulsação para você.
Sobre a pressão arterial
O que é pressão arterial?
Pressão arterial é a pressão exercida sobre as artérias enquanto o sangue flui através delas. A
pressão medida quando o coração se contrai e manda o sangue para fora dele é a pressão arterial
sistólica (mais alta). A pressão medida quando o coração se dilata com o sangue que volta para
dentro dele é chamada de pressão arterial diastólica (mais baixa).
