1. Avoid places where there is water or humidity.

Placement
Place the unit on astable, vibration-free, level shelf or
stand.
6. Use of acart or stand
When deciding on acart or stand, be sure to follow the
r e c o m m e n d a t i o n s f o r t h i s u n i t i n t h e o p e r a t i n g
instructions.
7. Wall or ceiling installation
If the unit is to be mounted on awall or ceiling, be sure to
do so only as recommended in ttie operating instructions.

c o n n e c t i n g t h e u n i t t o a p o w e r s u p p l y.
Be sure to connect the unit only to the type of power
supply indicated in the operating instructions, or as
indicated on the unit itself.
Care of the power cord and plug
fake care ttiat the cord is not bent sharply (especially
near its connection to the unit or near the plug), that
nothing is placed on it, and that it is not pinctied or
crushed. Never take hold of the plug or cord if your tiand
is wet, and always be sure to grasp the plug body when
connecting or disconnecting it.
10. If the unit will not be used for along period of time:
Be sure to disconnect the power cord.
11. Never attempt repairs yourself:
(a) If the power cord or plug is damaged,
(b) If aforeign object or liquid falls into the unit,
(c) If the unit is exposed to rain,
(d) If the unit does not function normally, or if operation
shows an unusual change.

purchased or the nearest service center).

If this unit is placed near astereo amplifier or tuner, a"HUM" noise
may be heard during tape playback or during AM reception of the
tuner. If tills occurs, leave as much space as poss!ble between ttie
