Problem

To clean this unit, use a soft, dry cloth.
If the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a soft cloth dipped in a soap-
and-water solution or a weak detergent solution.
Wring the cloth well before wiping the unit.
Wipe once again with a soft, dry cloth.
Never use alcohol, paint thinner, benzine, or chemically treated
cloths to clean this unit. Such chemicals may damage the finish of
your system.
Mi Tape head care
To assure sound quality for recording and playback, be sure to clean
the heads after approximately every 10 hours of use by the cleaning
tape (sold separately).
The protector tab on the tape is broken.
You tried to record tracks from a program
Cover the tab’s hole with adhesive tape or use
another tape. @
You cannot record programs if containing tracks
from more than one disc. If wanting to do so, set the
tape deck to normal recording.
Replace the batteries with new batteries.

Prepare the CD changer as described below to prevent damage to the
mechanism.
1. Remove all CDs.
2. Set the shipping spacer in the tray 5 as shown below.

Keep the latches on the spacer
to the bottom when fitting it into
the tray.

3. Close the tray 5 and turn OFF the system.
When the system is turned OFF, “Good-bye” or “Good night” wi
appear on the display.
Be sure to move the changer after such indication goes out.
