Replacing the cable
Cables must always be replaced at the first sign of wear, even if only the outer rubber protection is worn.
To replace the cable, proceed as follows:
- remove the protective panel covering the weight stack, following the instructions found in the paragraph headed Removing the
front weight stack panel;
- unscrew the screws (A) of both tension clamps (B) and remove the cable; as soon as they are released from the cables, the two
levers will move downward, resting against the rubber stops (C);
- insert the new cable and retighten the screws (A) on one tension clamp only (follow the original path of the cable as shown in the
drawing);
