1-7 - Interaction by phone
By calling the system by phone and sending DTMF tones to it, it is possible to query its general status, activate or deactivate the
operating programs and remote controls. To interact with the System, it is necessary to enter an access code (Master or User); on
recognising the code, the System responds by vocally listing the available operating options.
In order for the burglar alarm system to operate effectively, it is the customer's responsibility to organise a preventive maintenance
programme.
The checking frequency depends on several factors; however, an assessment carried out on average every 6 months is
recommended (unless otherwise specifi ed).
Maintenance must be entrusted to specialised technical personnel who have the necessary training, knowledge and equipment to
carry out adequate maintenance operations.
It is assumed that the skills needed to carry out adequate maintenance operations can be provided by those who developed the
project and installed it.
For this, there are specifi c guidelines reported in CLC/TS 50131-7.
Remember that the aforementioned technical specifi cations and standards also allow maintenance to be performed remotely.
In a maintenance plan, which includes two checks per year, one of the two can be performed remotely.
The most important checks are as follows:
• Status of power supplies and accumulators (APS) present on the control panels.
• Status of the batteries powering all wireless devices: detectors, consoles, sirens, wireless keys etc.
• Status of the accumulators of the self-powered devices, sirens and telephone communicators.
• Performance verifi cation of the perimeter and volumetric detectors, with checking the coverage area.
• Effi ciency of the control devices and related entry/exit procedures and program arming.
• Optical and acoustic effi ciency of local notifi cation devices.
• Effi ciency of telematic notifi cation devices, execution of notifi cation transmission tests.
• Correct detection and management of the System Tamper protection circuit.
• Verifi cation of secondary functions such as hold-up alarm button, etc.
• Checking cables are properly connected to the terminal boards.
• Drawing up the fi nal inspection report, signed by the maintenance technician and accepted by the customer.

1-6 - Interaction by evolution App
The installer can program the interoperability of the system with the Evolution App.After having downloaded the Evolution
management App for free on his/her smartphone or tablet, iOS or Android device, the user can remotely perform all the management,
implementation and control of the EV 10-50 System.
The app allows the user to interact remotely with the system, to manage the activity of the zones, programs, remote controls and
thermostats in a simple and intuitive way, to interact with home automation systems and, if the system is equipped with EV CAM BWL
detectors, request the taking of photos to view the protected areas. The notifi cation of the alarm events of the Evolution Systems
equipped with EV CAM BWL detectors is accompanied by the sequence of photos taken as a result of an alarm (Video Verifi cation).
The Evolution app transmits push notifi cations regarding your system's operating events to your mobile devices.
To consult the events archive, the Evolution app is equipped with fi lters that simplify the event search activity. The user can confi gure
the App by programming quick commands, which allow you to speed up the program management activities and the implementation
of the remote controls.
