Description

Teel heavy-duty cast iron convertible jet pumps (Models 4RJ47, 4RJ48, 4RJ50,

4P035A and 4P036A) are adaptable to either shallow or deep well installations. A

shallow well ejector is used for suction lifts of 25 feet or less. It can be used with

drilled (cased) wells, well points, dug wells, and cisterns or lakes. With a deep well

ejector installed, use on wells with 25 to 110 ft. suction lift (depending on ejector

package used). 1/3 HP model is equipped with a split-phase, 115/230 volt dual

voltage motor; 1/2, 3/4, 1, and 1

⁄2 HP models are equipped with capacitor start

115/230 volt dual-voltage motors. All models feature 30-50 psi preset pressure

switch and flow control valve. Impellers and diffusers are highly stable, high heat

thermoplastic.

Teel convertible jet pump system (Model 4RJ49) is a heavy-duty convertible jet

pump mounted on a 30 gallon horizontal tank. Use it on shallow wells (up to 25 ft.

suction lift) as shipped. Can be used with drilled (cased) wells, well points, dug

wells, and cisterns or lakes. With a deep well ejector installed, use on wells with

25-80 ft. suction lift. System is equipped with capacitor start 1/2 HP, 115/230V

motor, convertible ejector, built-in check valve, flow control valve, pressure gauge,

a 30-50 psi preset pressure switch, and pressure tank.

For instance, a 1 HP 4P035A pump in a shallow well (5' to water) can deliver 1020 GPH at 20 psi, while a 1 1/2 HP 4P036A pump at the same depth can deliver 1340 GPH at 20 psi. Deep well performance varies significantly with depth and ejector package. For example, a 4P035A at 30' deep can deliver 1320 GPH at 20 psi, and a 4P036A at 30' deep can deliver 1490 GPH at 20 psi.
