Why is the suction power too low on my Teka FilterCube 4-IFA?
    • S
      Spencer RobertsAug 11, 2025
If the suction power of your Teka Ventilation Hood is too low, and smoke is hardly extracted, several factors could be the cause. The filter element might be saturated, requiring you to replace the filter package and properly dispose of the old one. If no compressed air is connected, this can also saturate the filter elements; ensure compressed air is connected. Other potential issues include damage to the extraction elements (which would need replacement), the motor rotating in the wrong direction (requiring a change to the rotating field of the mains connection point), or contracted suction or exhaust lines (which need to be checked and fixed). Also, check throttle valves in the suction line and adjust them if necessary.

If your Teka Ventilation Hood is very noisy, several factors could be contributing to the issue. Ensure the motor isn't rotating in the wrong direction by checking and changing the rotating field of the mains connection point. Also, verify that a silencer is mounted. Check that the suction and exhaust lines are properly mounted. Finally, inspect the unit for any untight areas and fix them.
