Remove the circlip that is holding
the back plate onto the chuck
body using a pair of external
circlip pliers.
Using 2 flat head screw drivers,
pry out the back plate of the
chuck.
The pinion gears should be able to
be pushed out from the inside.
Tip the chuck upside down as
shown in the image to remove
the scroll ring.
Note:
Use the 3mm Hex key and push
out the scroll ring through the
jaw slide ways if the scroll ring is
seized onto the chuck body.
