potentiometer
connector ( Ρ 7055) to the M ain circuit board (located in front
of the H igh-Voltage shield) .
29 . R einstall the Attenuator/Sweep circuit boar d (see
the "Attenuator/Sweep Circuit B oard" reinstallation
procedure) .
NOTE
The instrument has either the Current L imit
board
( Α
19)
or the P reregulator board
(A 18) installed . Use
the appropriate board-removal procedure for your
particular instrument .
C urrent
L imit Circuit B
oard
To
remove the Current L imit b oard, perform the following
steps :
1 . R emove the H igh-Voltage shield (see the "High-
Voltage Shield" removal p rocedure) .
2 . Disconnect the four single-wire connectors from the
Current L imit board ( Ρ 801, Ρ 802, P803, and P804) .
3 . R emove the screw and nut which secure the Current
L imit b oard to the chassis frame .
To reinstall the Current L imit board, perform the following
steps :
4 . R einstall the securing screw and nut (removed in step
5 . R econnect the four single-wire connectors (removed
in step 2) .
6 . R einstall the H igh-Voltage shield (see
the "High-
Voltage Shield" r einstallation procedure) .
P reregulator Circuit B oard
To r emove the P reregulator circuit b oard, perform the
following ste p s :
1 .
R emove the H igh-Voltage shield (see the "High-
Voltage Shield" r emoval procedure) .
2 . R emove two screws securing the P reregulator board
mounting brackets (one at the

ear-top of the frame andone
on
the right
side
n
ear the back corner of the frame) .

3 . R emove the securing screw through t
he access h ole
of the clear plastic shield from the top of the Preregulator
board at the front-right corner .
4 . Disconnect four wire connectors from the Pre-
regulator b oard and note their positions for reinstallation
reference .
To reinstall the P reregulator board, p erform the following
steps :
NOTE
Check
for sufficient silicon grease and proper
positioning
of the insulator in
the plastic holder
housing 0933 .
5 . R econnect
two wire
connectors (P803 and P804) to
the front edge of the Preregulator
board at the positions
n oted in
step
4 . Then
position
the
b oard into the instrument
frame
.
6 . R
econnect
two wire
conncetors (P801 and P802) to
the left edge of the P reregulator board
at the
positions
note d in step 4 .
7 . R einstall the securing screw at the top of the
P reregulator b oar d (removed in step 3) .
8 . R
einstall the
two bracket screws (removed in step 2) .
9 . R einstall the H igh-Voltage shield (see the "High-
Voltage Shield" r einstallation procedure) .

sides . Seal carton with

industrial stapler .
