The
following
procedures
will
enable
the
operator
to
perform
some
basic
measurements
and
familiarize
the
operator
with
the
conventional
oscilloscope
capabilities
of
the
2221
.

make
a

to
-
peak
voltage
measurement
,
use
the
following
procedure
:

instrument

a
stable

more
accurate
value
can
be
obtained

measur
ing
from
the
top
of
a
peak
to
the
top
of
a
valley
.
This
eliminates
trace
thickness
from
the
measure
ment
.

Adjust
the
SEC
/
DIV
switch
to
display
several
cycles
of
the
waveform
.

Calculate
the
peak
-
to
-
peak
voltage
,
using
the
follow
ing
formula

position
the
displayed
waveform
so

negative
peak
of
the
waveform
coincides
with
one
of
the
horizontal
graticule
lines
