PROGRAMMING THE GATE TRAVEL STROKE AND PAUSE TIME
Thecontrolunit autolearnsthe working and pause times during the programming procedure.
The programming procedure involves repeated operation of the P/P control (7, fig. 1), or otherwise the P/Pcontrol (terminal 8, fig. 2)
ortheremote control (if memorised)canbe used.
A. Power up the control unit and check that the control inputs are operating correctly by checking the relative LEDs (the LEDs of the
NCcontacts mustbe on).
B. Removeall obstacles from the gate's operating zone.
C. Thelimit switch LEDs (16, fig. 1) must be on when the gate is half-open. When the gateis moved to the closed travel limit position,
oneof theLEDs (FCC) mustgoout;theother LED(FCA) must go out when it reachesthe open travel limit position.
1)Positionthegate or door at mid-travel.
2)Pressthe PROG button(6, fig.1) and hold itdownfor about5 seconds, until LEDLD1 (17, fig. 1) remainsconstantlyon.
Thecontrolunit is now in programming mode.
3) Press the P/P button (part 7 of fig.1). The motor then starts a closing manoeuvre. If the motor is running backwards, cut off the
power, invert the motorphases and repeat the procedure.
4,5)Oncethemotor has reachedthe stroke limit,it stopsand then the opening stroke starts automatically.
6)Oncethe opening strokeis complete, the motor stops. The control unit starts the pause time registration phase.
7)Oncethe desired pausetimehas lapsed, press the P/Pbutton.The motor then startstheclosingmanoeuvre.
8)Oncethe closingstroke is complete, themotor stops. End of programming, led L1switchesoff.

NOTE:ifthe encoderis detectedduringthemotormovement, LEDL1 flashes.

Failureofthiscomponentcould jeopardise installation operation and safety.
Thatiswhya control prior to every gate movement has been inserted.
Shouldtherebyanymalfunction, the control unit locks and the open gate warninglight blinksslowly.
TRIAC TEST
Pedestrianopeningisalready programmedin the factory at about 1-1.5 metres.
Ifthisopeningrequiresmodification, proceed as follows using the PED input, terminal 10:
1)Withthegate closed, accessthe programming modeby holdingthe PROG button down untilLD1 illuminates
2)Pressthe PEDbutton; the gate opens.
3)Pressthe PEDbutton again, in thepoint requiredas the pedestrianopening position.
4)The gate stops and then closes.Thecontrolunit thenquits the programming mode.
First,thetotalgate travelstroke must be programmed.
