Using the programming function
You can use the programming function to play up to 20
tracks from a music CD or 99 tracks from a MP3/WMA
CD in a sequence that you specify. With MP3/WMA CDs,
always programme the album first and then the track.
Note:
You can only use the programme function if a disc is
located in the closed CD compartment (7) and the Stop
mode is activated.
Î Insert a CD into the compartment (7) and close the
lid.
Î Press the button (11).
Î Press the PROGRAM button (12).
The number in the programme sequence P-01 and
"PROG" appear on the display (17), the track number
"001" flashes for audio CDs, the album number "01"
flashes for MP3/WMA CDs.
Î Select the album for MP3/WMA CDs with IWW (2) or
XXI (3) and confirm your entry with PROGRAM
(12). The track number "001" flashes.
Î Select the first track to be programmed using IWW
(2) or XXI (3). With an MP3 CD you can advance
10 tracks using +10/ALBUM (13).
Î Save the desired track number using the
PROGRAM (12) button. The track is now
programmed at location 01.
Î The number of the next memory location now
appears in the display (17). Programme the desired
order of the tracks in the same way.
Î Press the X II button (4) to start playback of your
selection. PROG and the current track number
appear in the display (17). With MP3/WMA CDs, the
indicator displays the album number and the track
number.
Î If you want to interrupt playback of the programmed
selection, press the X II button (4) once.
Î To resume playback press the X II button (4) once.
Î To stop playback of the programme press the
button (11).
Note:
When you open the CD compartment (7) or actuate the
FUNCTION switch (20) the programme memory is
deleted. Pressing the button (11) twice also ends the
programme function.
