Troubleshooting
If the unit does not function as intended, perform checks
using the following table.
If the malfunction cannot be fixed even after these
checks, please contact the manufacturer.
Problems with the unit
Symptom Possible cause/remedy
The unit does not turn
on.
The unit is not receiving power.
Connect the mains cable to the
socket correctly.
Insert new batteries.
There is no sound. Increase the volume.
Remove the headphone plug from
the unit when you want the sound
to be produced through the
speakers.
The incorrect source may have
been selected.
Symptom Possible cause/remedy
I can hear background noise. A mobile phone or other
device near the unit is
transmitting interfering radio
waves.
Remove the mobile phone or
device from the vicinity of the
unit.
There are other operating
errors, loud noises or a faulty
display.
Electronic components in the
unit are defective.
Remove the mains plug.
Disconnect the unit from the
power source for approx. 10
seconds. Reconnect the unit
or insert the batteries.
The display does not turn on. Switch on the unit.
Remove the plug, reinsert the
plug, switch on the unit.
