Using the radio
Note:
The unit receives these frequencies:
FM 88–108 MHz and MW (AM) 540–1600 KHz.
Î To activate the radio, set the FUNCTION switch (20)
to RADIO. The LED (5) illuminates.
Î To select the desired FM or MW frequency range,
set the BAND switch (21) to FM ST. (stereo), FM
(mono) or AM (MW).
Î If you select the FM mode, you can align the
telescopic aerial (25) to improve the quality of
reception.
Note:
In general FM stations are received in stereo sound; the
LED (9) illuminates. If stereo reception is disrupted, you
can set the BAND switch (21) to FM (mono). Doing this
increases the low noise level of reception. The LED (9)
goes out.
Î If you select MW, you can rotate the unit itself to
improve reception.
Setting a station
Manual station selection
Turn the TUNING wheel (14) to the desired frequency.
The frequency display on the scale provides an
approximate orientation of the frequency range.
Switching off the unit
Î To switch off the unit, set the FUNCTION switch (20)
to OFF. The LED (5) goes out.
