Problems with the radio
Symptom Possible cause/remedy
No stations are being
received.
The unit is not set to the Radio mode.
Set the “FUNCTION” switch to RADIO
Other devices, e.g. a television, are
interfering with reception.
Move the Radio/CD player further
away from these devices.
The batteries are depleted.
Replace the worn batteries with new
batteries.
The sound is weak or
of poor quality.
The aerial is not extended or aligned.
Extend the aerial.
Rotate the aerial or the unit to improve
the quality of reception.
