This device is prohibited in the following cases:
• pregnant women;
• patients wearing pace-makers (risk of interference with the functioning of the
pace-maker);
• implanted debrillators;
• alteration of the peripheral nerves, muscular disease and serious damage to the
joints;
• serious heart problems;
• suffering from epilepsy;
• patients bone tumours;
• patients with serious high blood pressure;
• patients suffering from serious systematic, debilitating or dermatological disease;
• patients undergoing treatment with an HF device, as this could cause burns and
damage to the stimulator itself;
• near any short wave or microwave therapy equipment, as this could cause in-
stability in the stimulator output;
• unconscious patients or patients unable to communicate;
• people suffering from psychophysical problems that prohibit their exposure to
external factors;
• in the presence of a mix of ammable anaesthetic with air, oxygen or nitrogen
protoxide.
• If wearing the device necessitates placement over areas at which drugs/medicines
are administered by injection (short term or long term) e.g. hormone treatment.
Please wait before using product until:
• At least six weeks after the birth of your baby (you must consult your doctor rst).
• At least three months after having a Caesarean (you must consult your doctor rst).
• One month after an IUD contraceptive device (e.g. coil) has been tted.
• The heavy days of your period have nished.
Please get your doctor’s advice before using your product if:
• You wish to use belt and have a bad black.
• You have any serious illness or injury not mentioned in this guide.
• You have recently had an operation.
• You take insulin for diabetes.
• You want to use it on a young child.
• You suffer from muscle or joint problems.
General safekeeping:
• After strenuous exercise or exertion always use a lower intensity to avoid mus-
cle fatigue.
• Do not use your controller at the same time as any other device which transfers
an electrical current into the body (e.g. another muscle stimulator).
• Cease using your product if you are feeling light header or faint. Consult your
doctor if this happens.
