How to fix Texas BC 335-4 Trimmer when the cord cannot be extended?

If the cord on your Texas Trimmer cannot be extended, there are several possible reasons. The cord may have melted, in which case you should replace it. There might be insufficient cord on the spool, so fit more cord. The cord could be worn down, so replace it. The cord might be tangled with the spool; if so, remove the cord and roll it back on. Lastly, the engine RPM could be too low, so advance the cord at full throttle.
