For best results, use only the center two-thirds
of the furnace chamber.
• If you are heating a number of small
parts, spread them throughout the cen-
ter of the furnace chamber.
• Keep objects away from thermocouple.
• Use insulated tongs and mittens when
loading and unloading furnace.
• Always wear safety glasses.
• Use Thermolyne hearth plates if you
place load on bottom of chamber. Part
#PHX2 (three are required).

Furnace Loading
Caution
Do not overload your furnace cham-
ber. If the load is to be heated uniform-
ly, it should not occupy more than two-
thirds of the furnace chamber. Failure
to observe this caution could result in
damage to furnace components.
