MULTISKAN RC INITIALIZATION SEQUENCE
Switch led orange.
LED RED and LED GREEN signals low
Detect real time clock option.
Read Smartwatch. If valid result, RTC option installed.
Else try to set time
01.01.1994 00:OO:OO. Read again and if still invalid, RTC option not installed.
Initialize serial port.
lnitialize transmit and receive buffers.
lnitialize baud timer for baud selected by DIL switch.
Disable transmit if RTSICTS handshake and CTS is off
Enable transmit, receive and CTS interrupts.
Reset steppers: filter stepper off, plate stepper low current.
CLK M signal low.
PLATE ENA signal high.
PLATE CUR signal low.
Enable interrupt on falling edge of FILTER HOME.
Calculate step delay tables for both steppers.
Tables are calculated to RAM.
Find plate home position.
If plate home sensor low, drive plate first 40 steps in.
Drive plate out
20
steps past home sensor low transition.
Wait chopper speed to stabilize.
Start a timer for is timeout. If the timer expires, the chopper is not rotating.
Measure chopper cycle length from SYNC A interval.
Wait 0.5s
Measure chopper cycle length again.
If measured cycle length difference less than 5.5~~~ the speed has stabilized.
Else repeat the sequence.
Adjust channel gains for each filter, record non installed filters.
Start adjust from filter
1
and continue to filter

Adjust channel gains for each four lamp intensity, starting from low
intensity.
With each intensity, start decreasing channel gains from maximum
until all channel readings are below MAX-CH-READING (9.9V).
Select for current filter the lamp intensity and gains combination which
gave the highest readings.
If
the gains could not be adjusted (too much or not enough light), mark
current filter not installed.
Select first installed filter
Detect agglutination option.
Switch the agglutination slit on.
Adjust agglutination gains for the selected filter.
Switch the agglutination slit off.
If the change in light intensity when the slit was switched off is within
MAX-SLIT-ATTEN and MIN-SLIT-ATTEN (4V to 9.1V), the agglutination
option is installed, else not.
