4. Control Levers

box. Align spring box with linkage.
Control levers binding with safety
shields or sound insulation. Adjust.
Control lever bearings binding in
lever assembly. Inspect, replace or
clean as required.
Inspect linkage for wear at rod ends,
loose counter nuts.
Replace bolt. Inspect pintle lever for
wear at bolt hole. Ensure bolt
clamping lever to pump shaft is
tight.

3. Final Drive Transmission

Final drive transmission noisy
No lubricating oil
Axles have too much end play

Check and bring oil to the proper
level. Use 10W30 API SH engine
oil.
Preload axle bearings removing all
end play.
Inspect and adjust or replace
damaged parts.
Replace the chain.
5. Electrical
Problem Cause Remedy
Engine will not crank over
Battery failure
Battery cable failure
Starter failure
Check battery - charge or replace.
Check for loose or corroded
connectors. Tighten and clean as
required. Use di-electric grease to
prevent corrosion.
Check continuity of cables and
replace.
Repair or replace.
