Installation
• The pump is suitable only for operation in dry rooms.
• The pump position should be easily accessible, well ventilated and even.
• Keep the pump at min. 20 cm from walls and other objects.
• Ensure horizontal installation position.
• Ensure the pump stands on a firm base. With a suitable slip-free surface no further
fixing is necessary.
For pumps used to aerate water in aquariums, ponds or similar,
avoid water entering the pump by ensuring that the pump stands
above the water level.
Pneumatic /
Electrical Connection and Operation
• Hose diameter and length influence the pump performance. To avoid
unnecessary reductions ensure:
• The hose inner diameter should be at minimum equal to the outside
diameter of the pump outlet (LP-30A to LP-200HN: 18mm, LW-200/LW-
240/LW-300/LW-350/LW-400: 26mm).
• For hoses longer than 10m the next size hose diameter should be used
(LP-30A to LP-200HN: > 20mm, LW-200 to LW-400: > 40mm).
• No rough, kinked or tightly bent hoses.
• Ensure that the pump socket is earthed.
• Ensure that the supply voltage and frequency corresponds to the pump label.
• Do not lay cables in walking areas.
Improper installation can cause an electrical shock or start a
fire. If the mains cable is damaged only suitable qualified
persons should repair it.
