Pour appliquer la force d‘appui choisie, faire tourner le contre-
poids (avec sa bague de réglage) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montre. L’échelle de la bague de réglage correspond aux valeurs
suivantes:

Exemple:
Lorsque le premier trait fort est en regard de I'aréte supérieure
de |’étrier, la force d’appui est donc de 10 mN ou 1 gr.
*) Remarque
S‘il se révéle impossible d’amener le bras lecteur en position
d’équilibre au moyen du contre-poids, il faut alors /nverser ce
dernier sur son tube de guidage. En effet, la répartition de la
masse a I‘intérieur du contre-poids est asymétrique, ce qui per-
met d’‘équilibrer des cellules de poids trés différents.

When the first heavy line is opposite the edge, the stylus force
is 10 mN (1 pond).
*) Remark:
If the tone arm cannot be balanced (because of an extraheavy
cartridge), the counterweight which has an asymmetrical weight
distribution must be mounted backwards.
