Fuzzy Logic: If using CO2 regulator and compressed CO2. This mode applies fuzzy logic control
to the CO2 output. NOT for use with CO2 generators.
PPM Down: Decrease the CO2 PPM by using an exhaust fan.
CO2 PPM Min/Max Recall
Click both knobs to display the CO2 min/max PPM record. This shows the lowest PPM and
highest PPM levels for a 24 hour period. The screen will return to normal display after 5 seconds
or by a pressing both knobs, and the record will be reset.
Calibration
Place the CO2 sensor outdoors in an area free of people, animals, cars, other CO2 generating
objects and press both CO2 knobs for 3 seconds. The display screen will read CAL/400. Keep
the sensor from direct sunlight and any breathing. Allow it 10 minutes to stabilize the PPM
reading. The screen will return to normal display once the calibration is complete. Calibration
should be performed every 3 years.
Temperature Setting
Day Temperature Setting: There is a “Day Cooling” set point and a “Day Heating” set point.
To set the “Day Cooling” set point press the knob “DAY TEMP” once. “COOL” will be
displayed. To change setting, turn the knob and click to accept the new setting.
To set the “Day Heating” set point, press the knob “DAY TEMP” twice. “HEAT” will be
displayed, turn the knob to change the setting and press again to save new setting.
Night Temperature Setting: Set up through the “NIGHT TEMP” knob repeating the same process
used when setting “DAY TEMP”.
Temperature Min/Max Recall: Press both knobs to recall the minimum and maximum temperature
history over a 24 hour period.
Temperature Dead-Band (hysteresis) options: 2°/4°/6° F
EXAMPLE: When using Cooling, if the set-point is 75° F and the dead-band is 6° F, the Cooling
output will activate at or above 75° F and deactivate at 69° F. For the Heating mode, if the set
point is 75°F, the output will activate at or below 75° F and turn off at 81° F.
High & Low Temperature Protection
High Temperature Protection: If the temperature has exceeded the limit, the CDEC will deactivate
the CO2 output (only when using PPM-UP function), regardless if the CO2 PPM level has
reached the set-point. The CO2 generator will be active when the temperature returns to 10°F
less than the high limit setting.
