NOTE: Always wear the harness (1) on your back when working with the
machine. Never operate the machine while carrying it by the handle on the
back plate (2). Always turn the machine off and wait until the engine stops
completely before taking off the harness (1).
NOTE: The assistance of another person may be needed in placing the machine
on your back after starting. In order to reduce the risk of injury to the assistant
from thrown objects or from contact with fumes, the engine should be kept at
idle speed during this brief period, and your assistant should not stand in the
area of the nozzle (11) or exhaust. Otherwise, the mahince should be started
and operated without assistance.
1. Carry the harness (1) on both shoulders.
2.
Adjust the straps so that the back plate (2) is held rmly and comfortably against
the back.
WARNING! In the event of an emergency, release the buckle on the left
shoulder strap, then remove the other shoulder strap of the harness (1) to
throw the machine off quickly.
Frequently check the function of the buckle on the left shoulder strap in order
to free the machine quickly from the harness (1) in the event of danger.
Operation
Check before starting:
> Check the machine, as well as accessories for damage before each use. Do not
use the machine if it is damaged or shows wear.
> Double check that the exible hose (5), extension tube (9), blower tube (10),
nozzle (11) and the harness (1) are properly xed.
> Check the fuel level, rell if necessary.
> Always carry the machine securely by the handle on the back plate (2). Keep
the control handle (6) dry and clean to ensure a rm grip, so that the machine is
under control at all times.
> Ensure that the guard net (15), mufer (18), and air vents are always
unobstructed and clear. Clean them if necessary with a soft brush. Blocked air
vents may lead to overheating and damage the machine.
> Stop the engine immediately if you are disturbed while working by other people
entering the working area. Always let the machine come to complete stop before
putting it down.
> Do not overwork yourself. Take regular breaks to ensure you can concentrate on
the work and have full control over the machine.
