Torquethewheelnutsto94to122Nm(70to90
ft-lb)after1to4hoursofoperationandagainafter
10hoursofoperation.T orqueevery250hours
thereafter.

Failuretomaintainpropertorqueofthewheel
nutscouldresultinpersonalinjury.
Maintainthepropertorqueonthewheelnuts.
AdjustingtheTraction
DriveforNeutral
Themachinemustnotcreepwhenthetractionpedal
isreleased.Ifitdoescreep,adjustasfollows:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,andlowerthecuttingunitstotheoor.
2.Jackupthefrontofthemachineuntilthe
fronttiresareofftheshopoor.Supportthe
machinewithjackstandstopreventitfrom
fallingaccidentally.
Note:On4-wheel-drivemodels,thereartires
mustalsobeofftheshopoor
3.Ontherightsideofthehydrostat,loosenthe
locknutonthetractionadjustmentcam(Figure
