rubbergasketcontactsthelteradapter,then
tightenthelteranadditional1/2turn.
Important:Donotover-tightenthelter.
6.Addoiltothecrankcase;refertoCheckingthe
Engine-OilLevel(page44).

•Useafunnelandllthefueltankoutdoors,
inanopenarea,whentheengineisoffand
iscold.Wipeupanyfuelthatspills.
•Donotllthefueltankcompletelyfull.
Addfueltothefueltankuntilthelevelis6
to13mm(1/4to1/2inch)belowthebottom
ofthellerneck.Thisemptyspaceinthe
tankallowsthefueltoexpand.
•Neversmokewhenhandlingfuel,andstay
awayfromanopenameorwherefuel
fumesmaybeignitedbyaspark.
•Storefuelinaclean,safety-approved
containerandkeepthecapinplace.
