1.Removetheboltssecuringthefrontandrearsections
ofthedifferentialcovertothedifferentialhousing
andslidethecoversectionsawaytoexposethebelt.
2.Checkthetensionbypressingthebeltatmidspan
ofthepulleys(Figure32)with5to6lbofforce.The
beltshoulddeect1/4inch.

2.LoosentheretainersecuringtheV-beltcoverand
pivotthecoveropen(

securingtheenginemountingbasetothemower
frameandslidetheenginefromsidetosideuntilthe
pulleysarealignedwithin0.030inch(0.07cm).
