2.LoosentheretainersecuringtheV-beltcoverand
pivotthecoveropen.
3.Toincreasethecabletension,loosenthefront
cablejamnutandtightenthebackcablejamnut
(Figure23)untilaforceof3to5lb(1.5to2.3kg)
isrequiredtoengagethebrake.Measuretheforce
attheleverknob.Donotover-adjustitsothatthe
brakebanddrags.

properoperationofthemachineandunnecessarywear.
Checkbeltsfrequently.

1.Removethebeltcovermountingfastenersandbelt
covertoexposethebelt(Figure24).
