Testingthe48VDC/12VDCConverter

The48VDC/12VDCconverteranditscircuitwiringcanbetestedusingthe

InfoCentersplashscreen(batteryicon);refertoUsingtheInfoCenterDisplayfor

Troubleshooting(page3–39).Iftestingdeterminesthattheconverterandcircuit

wiringarenotfunctioningcorrectly,proceedwiththefollowingtestprocedure:

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,setthekey

switchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekeyfromtheswitch.

2.Removetherightsidecover.

3.Disconnectthe48VDC/12VDCconverterfromthemachinewireharness.

Checktheharnessconnectorsfordamageorcorrosionandcleanorrepair

asnecessary.Useamultimeter(VDCsetting)tocheckthemachinewire

harnessconnector.
