1.Disconnecttheelectricalharnessfromthebulb
housingonthebackofthelamp.
2.Removethebulbassemblybyturningit1/4turn
counterclockwiseandmovingitrearward,outofthe
lamphousing.
3.Removethebulbfromthebasetakingcarenotto
touchthehalogenquartz.
4.Installanewbulbonthebase.Useapapertowel
tograspthenewbulbwithhandlingittoavoid
contaminatingthesurface.
5.Insertthenewbulbandassemblyintotheheadlight
housingandsecurebyturningit1/4turnclockwise
tolockitinplace.
6.Connecttheelectricalharness.
ReplacingtheHeadlight
Whenremovingorreplacingtheheadlightassembly,
disconnectthewiringharnesstothebulbassemblyifthe
bulbistoberemovedwiththelamp.
1.Removethespeedclipsandwasherssecuringthe
headlightinplace.Retainallparts.
2.Removetheheadlightassemblybymovingitforward
throughtheopeninginthefrontbumper(
Figure34).

3.Installthenewheadlightthroughtheopeninginthe
bumper(Figure34).Ensuretheadjustmentposts
arelinedupwiththeholesinthemountingbracket
inthebumper.
4.Securetheheadlightassemblywiththewashersand
speedclipsremovedpreviously.
5.Attachtheheadlighttothewireharnessremoved
previously.
6.Adjusttheheadlightstodirectthebeamstothe
desiredposition.

Usethefollowingproceduretoadjusttheheadlight
beampositionwheneveraheadlightassemblyisreplaced
orremoved.
1.TurntheignitionkeytotheOnpositionandturnon
theheadlights.
2.Attheheadlightassembly,usethefastenerstopivot
theheadlightassemblyandaffectthecastbeam
position.
