1.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andsettheparking
brake.
2.Raiseandlatchthecargobox.
3.Removethe3boltssecuringthecovertotheclutch
andremovethecover(

innerworkingsoftheclutchusingcompressedair.
CAUTION
Thedustintheclutchwillbecomeairborneand
coulddamageyoureyesoryoucouldinhaleit
causingbreathingdifculties.
Wearsafetygogglesandadustmaskorother
eyeandrespiratoryprotectionwhenperforming
thisprocedure.
5.Installtheclutchcoverandsecureitwiththe3bolts
removedpreviously.
ChangingtheTransaxleFluid
ServiceInterval:Every800hours
Changethetransaxleuidevery800operatinghoursor
yearly,whicheveroccursrst.
1.Positionthevehicleonalevelsurface,settheparking
brake,turntheignitionoff,andremovethekey.
2.Removethedrainplugfromtherightsideofthe
reservoir(Figure41)andlettheuidowintoa
drainpan.Installandtightentheplugwhentheuid
stopsdraining.
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatacertiedrecycling
center.
