onlymomentarilyorwithamotorattached.
Important:Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelafter
installationofanattachment.Checktheoperation
oftheattachmentbycyclingtheattachmentseveral
timestopurgeairfromthesystem,thencheck
hydraulic-uidlevelagain.Theattachmentcylinder
willslightlyaffecttheuidlevelinthetransaxle.
Operatingthevehiclewithalowhydraulic-uidlevel
candamagethepump,remotehydraulics,power
steering,andthevehicletransaxle.
ConnectingtheQuickCouplers
Important:Cleandirtfromquickcouplersbefore
connecting.Dirtycouplerscanintroducecontamination
intothehydraulicsystem
1.Pullbackthelockingringonthecoupler.
2.Insertthehosenippleintothecoupleruntilitsnaps
intoposition.
Note:Whenattachingremoteequipmenttothequick
couplers,determinewhichsiderequirespressure,thenattach
thathosetoquickcouplerB,whichwillhavepressurewhen
thecontrolleverispushedforwardorlockedintheON
position.
DisconnectingtheQuickCouplers
Note:Withboththevehicleandattachmentturnedoff,
movetheliftleverbackandforthtoremovethesystem
pressureandeasethedisconnectionofthequickcouplers.
1.Pullbackthelockingringonthecoupler.
2.Pullthehosermlyfromthecoupler.
Important:Cleanandinstallthedustplugand
dustcoverstothequickcouplerendswhennot
inuse.
TroubleshootingtheHydraulicControl
•Difcultyinconnectingordisconnectingquickcouplers.
Thepressurenotrelieved(thequickcouplerisunder
pressure).
•Thepowersteeringisturningwithgreatdifcultyorit
isnotturningatall.
–Thehydraulic-uidlevelislow.
–Thehydraulic-uidtemperatureishot.
–Thepumpisnotoperating.
•Therearehydraulicleaks.
–Thettingsareloose.
–ThettingismissingtheO-ring.
•Anattachmentdoesnotfunction.
–Thequickcouplersarenotfullyengaged.
–Thequickcouplersareinterchanged.
•Thereisasquealingnoise.
–RemovethevalveleftintheONdetentposition
causinghydraulicuidtoowoverthereliefvalve.
–Thebeltisloose.
•Theenginedoesnotstart.
