Neverjump-startwithavoltagesourcegreater
than15VDC;thiswilldamagetheelectrical
system.
Neverattempttojump-startadischarged
batterythatisfrozen.Itcouldruptureorexplode
duringjump-starting.
Observeallbatterywarningswhilejump-starting
yourmachine.
Besurethatyourmachineisnottouchingthe
jump-startmachine.
Connectingcablestothewrongpostcould
resultinpersonalinjuryand/ordamagetothe
electricalsystem.
1.Squeezethebatterycovertoreleasethetabsfromthe
batterybase,andremovethebatterycoverfromthe
batterybase(Figure49).
