Thevehicleiscapableofpullingtrailers.Twotypes

Whenhaulingcargoortowingatrailer,donotoverload
yourvehicleortrailer.Overloadingcancausepoor
performanceordamagetothebrakes,axle,engine,
transaxle,steering,suspension,bodystructure,ortires.
Alwaysloadatrailerwith60%ofthecargoweightin
thefrontofthetrailer.Thisplacesapproximately10%
oftheGrossTrailerWeight(GTW)onthetowhitchof
thevehicle.
Themaximumcargoloadshallnotexceed1200lb
(544kg),includingtheGTWandtongueweight.For
example,iftheGTW=400lb(181.5kg)andtongue
weight=50lb(23kg),thenthemaximumcargoload=
750lb(340kg)
Toprovideadequatebrakingandtraction,alwaysload
thecargoboxwhentrailering.DonotexceedtheGTW
limits.
Avoidparkingavehiclewithatraileronahill.Ifyou
mustparkonahill,engagetheparkingbrakeandblock
thetrailertires.
