8. Lift the brake assembly and blade drive belt from the
mower (Fig. 211).
9. To replace the blade drive belt, remove the idler
pulley bolt (Fig. 212).

11. Continuing with the disassembly, remove the bolt
securing the pulley to the crankshaft.
Note: Use a large screwdriver or pry bar to keep the
pulley from turning while you unscrew the
bolt (Fig. 214).
