Locate and replace safety and instruction decals near areas of potential danger.
Install the blade-control bar into the upper handle as shown in the figure.
Move the handle to the operating position and tighten the handle knobs securely.
Ensure the engine has the correct oil level before starting the machine; it ships without oil.
Check the engine-oil level before each use or daily to prevent engine damage.
Adjust the cutting height by setting the front and rear wheel levers to the desired height.
