wait3minutes,andrepeatsteps3through5until
theoillevelonthedipstickisatthecorrectlevel.
•Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoohigh,drainthe
excessoiluntiltheoillevelonthedipstickisat
thecorrectlevel.RefertoChangingtheEngine
Oil(page17).
Important:Iftheoillevelinthecrankcaseistoo
lowortoohighandyouruntheengine,youmay
damagetheengine.
6.Installthedipsticksecurely.
AdjustingtheCuttingHeight
WARNING
Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouinto
contactwiththemovingblade,causingserious
injury.
•Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostop.
•Donotputyourngersunderthehousingwhen
adjustingthecuttingheight.
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,themuferwillbe
hotandcanseverelyburnyou.Keepawayfromthe
hotmufer.
Adjustthecuttingheightasdesired.Setthefrontwheelsto
thesameheightastherearwheels(Figure13).
Note:Toraisethemachine,movethefrontcuttingheight
leversrearwardandtherearcuttingheightleversforward.
Tolowerthemachine,movethefrontcuttingheightlevers
forwardandtherearcuttingheightleversrearward.
